All the ways to be smart by Davina Bell and Allison Colpoys

I can’t wait to share with you how smart you are the whole day through

All the ways to be smart by Davina Bell and Allison Colpoys is the perfect book for any child.

Through creativity and rhyme, they explore all of the different ways children can be smart and how wonderful it is to be smart in so many different ways.

You can be smart at drawing, at caring for others or building things.

Children will see that being smart at dancing, bug spotting, dinosaur hunting or music playing are all just as valid as academic smarts that are heavily focused on at school.

We had a great time looking at the fluorescent illustrations and wondering how they were created. The colours will brighten your day and add brilliance to knowing how smart you truly are.

All the ways to be smart should be shared with all children so that they can see that there are many different ways, throughout the day when they shine. They can see that even the smallest of achievements can be their way of being smart and that that makes them special.

This book is also fantastic for parents and teachers to see that every child can do well and we do not always need to focus so strongly on the academic side of life. It shows us that we need to see the skills that all children have and give them the opportunities to use them in different ways, every day!
